• Please bring your own apron and wear something that you don’t mind getting dirty (sometimes absolutely covered in clay). Short nails are better and if you have long hair, tying it back is advisable. If you are going on the wheel, we recommend a teatowel too.

  • Whilst we are based in the garden, have no fear. We have doors on the studio to enclose the studio during the colder months. The kiln keeps the space toasty too.

  • We supply all the tools you need, but feel free to bring your own (we advise labelling so it doesn’t get mixed up).

  • We provide clay. For taster classes and workshops, all your material fees are included.

For courses, there is a small firing fee. This is to cover the costs of the two kiln firings and glaze material.

  • Believe it or not, there is gambit of types of clay! Each with their own firing ranges. For these reasons, it is paramount that people do not bring their own clay into the studio. Please only use the clay provided.

  • At present, we currently do not offer firing services. However, this is a something we hope to offer in the future…

  • If you are running late to a taster class, please do let us know so we can accommodate you and the rest off the class.

However, if you are very very late to a class or do not show up, we are unable to rebook your class at a later date.

  • We recognise that from time to time, you might miss a class in the course. We are not able to refund missed classes, however we do our best to make the time back to you.

You can make up the time for 1 missed session in your pottery course

It’s just the time, there’s no tuition

This can be done in weekday independent practice only, NOT weekend sessions *

Missed classes being made up must be redeemed within 2 months of finishing the course (spaces subject to availability)

Please email us to book you in. Unfortunately, if these conditions are not met, the time will have been lost.

  • Sometimes, plans change. We try to be flexible with our cancellations, but as just a mother and daughter running the studio, we are afraid we need time to action the admin changes and time for the spots to resell.

We can cancel your class with 6 weeks notice beforehand and offer you a full refund.

We can reschedule your taster class with 4 weeks notice before your sessions.

Any time less than this. I am afraid the fee will be forfeited. In these cases, we recommend gifting your slot on to a friend or family member!

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact us directly. There is an admin fee of £10 per change.

  • They have made, they have been fired, but when are they ready? It is usually 4-6 weeks to process taster pots,. When you have been called to collect them, you have 8 weeks to do so.

Please see our collection page for more detailed information here.

  • Sadly, we do not have wheelchair access at the moment, but this is something we are looking to develop in the future.
